Hi there!  I am new to this site, and I'm also fairly new to running, competing on the level I am now anyway.  I ran in high school and college, but I never knew my full potential, and then I met Heath two years ago.  He entered me into my first 5k just to see how I would do (not very much training at all), and he couldn't believe my results.  I've reached a level that I only dreamt about, when I was in my teens.  I was a teacher/coach for 5 years, and then took on real estate.  I love my career now because it allows me to train every day.  My race is the marathon, the longer I go, the better I do.  I also enjoy trail running because it breaks up the monotony of road racing.  My hobbies outside of running are wakeboarding, movies, brunch with friends, dancing, going out to dinner, being silly (I'm very silly) and watching sports!  I love the Lakers and the Suns, and of course the Longhorns.  My idols include my coach Heath, Desiree Ficker, Alberto Salazar, Deena Kastor, and Kobe Bryant.  I love life and live it every day.
